M16 Phase 1
Specialized Logistics for Ultra-Low-Temperature Cold Box – SK Hynix M16 Phase 1 Project
A specialized logistics project involving the import and safe delivery of an ultra-low-temperature cold box for the SK Hynix M16 Phase 1 semiconductor cluster. The high-precision equipment was sourced overseas and successfully transported to the Icheon site, ensuring full compliance with handling and safety protocols throughout the process.
Project Summary The SK Hynix M16 Phase 1 project is a large-scale infrastructure initiative aimed at building a next-generation semiconductor mega-cluster at the company’s Icheon campus in Gyeonggi Province. As part of this development, we managed the end-to-end import and site delivery of cold boxes—critical equipment responsible for supplying ultra-low-temperature refrigerant gases essential to semiconductor fabrication.
Cold boxes are classified as high-precision, heavy-duty equipment and require sophisticated logistics control from ocean transport through to inland delivery.
Scope of Work
Ocean freight from the overseas point of origin → arrival at Korean port → import customs clearance
CFS handling, followed by inland transport to the M16 construction site in Icheon via specialized trailers
Pre-transport planning, including route surveys, road inspections, transport permits, safety protocol development, and on-site unloading coordination
This project stands as a showcase example of our ability to execute highly complex logistics for sensitive, high-value semiconductor equipment. By ensuring stable, compliant delivery of cold boxes for SK Hynix’s mega fab construction, we reinforced our capability in bridging global supply chains with advanced semiconductor infrastructure—demonstrating deep specialization in high-stakes technical logistics.
